At dawn today, Isfahan witnessed the flight of a hero whose name, even in captivity, sent shivers through the worshippers of darkness.
Erfan Kiani — a young man who, far from media attention and away from the camera lenses, was sent to the gallows for the “crime” of seeking freedom. They accused him of moharebeh, “waging war against God,” because he refused to remain silent in the face of oppression.
He was arrested on January 8 at Piroozi Crossroads in Isfahan, and today his name was made eternal in the crimson book of those who gave their lives for freedom.
